Meg Galus

Executive Pastry Chef

Meg joined Good Ambler in 2023. Her 20 years in the industry include seven years with the Boka group, heading up the dessert programs at Michelin-starred BOKA and several other restaurants; two years at Cocoa + Co as partner/chocolatier; and five years as executive pastry chef at the Park Hyatt Chicago. She began her career at the acclaimed fine dining restaurant TRU.

She is a three time James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef Finalist for her work at BOKA, and was named Chicago Tribune Pastry Chef of the Year and Jean Banchet Pastry Chef of the Year.

Taylor Berardi

Pastry Chef

Taylor has been with Good Ambler since 2023. She started her career in small cafes in central Illinois and after moving to Chicago in 2019 has worked at some of Chicago's favorite restaurants including Blackbird and Avec. Born and raised in the Midwest, Taylor feels passionately about incorporating seasonal produce throughout the pastry menu. 

Jess Reid

Cafe Manager

Jess is a Chicagoland native with eight years of experience in specialty coffee. She began her career in independent coffee shops in Chicago’s west suburbs, where she honed her skills in roasting and brewing. Her work is rooted in a deep passion for serving her community  through the craft of artisanal coffee.
